29th Shade – Inspired by Le Labo Thé Noir 29

29th Shade is our version of Le Labo Thé Noir 29, a fragrance built around black tea.

It starts with bergamot, fig, and bay leaf, a dry and green mix. The middle carries cedarwood, vetiver, and musk, where the tea accord shows its depth. The base of tobacco and hay gives it an earthy weight that lingers.

At Eau de Parfum strength, 29th Shade wears close to the skin yet stays steady for hours. Its dry and earthy profile suits both men and women who prefer subtle but grounded scents.

29th Shade captures the spirit of Thé Noir 29 in a form made for regular wear.

Main notes: Cedarwood, Fig, Tobacco, Hay, Vetiver, Bergamot, Bay Leaf, & Musk.
Concentration: Eau de Parfum

Needs a little more work

This is just my first impression, I own a bottle of the real perfum, i wanted to try this one to alternate and preserve the real one longer, but this one lacks depth and a few ingredients, i don’t feel the fig, bergamot and tea note, it just feels lighter and diluted, the real one is stronger and more complex, i think it needs a reformulation and re/equalize the formula, i received it two weeks ago so i’ll let it macerate for at least 6 weeks and see how it developes, on the other hand its a pleasant and good take on the le labo’s scent profile in my oppinion 80% close for now, if you want an idea of how the real one smells, this will do, i’d call this an inspiration instead of a clone, and for the price point it’s a good deal.

Extremely solid freshie

I haven't smelled the OG, so I can't comment on how close it is to that. That said, the quality is great with this, and the fig shines up top and comes across very natural. At the same time, I almost get the same booziness as I do with Nasomatto Baraonda. Regardless, this is still a great scent for the spring or early fall.

Oh, what a lovely scent. Fig and bergamot are so juicy smelling like a rose! This smells not like tea but like wine and roses. Gorgeous. Beautiful woodsy base. Works amazingly well on a man.
